Dates for the 2026 Workshop will be posted in October 2025.

The Whidbey Gardening Workshop is a full day of focused classes, panel sessions, hands-on learning, demonstrations and a gardening Marketplace.

Throughout the day, attendees can visit the vibrant Marketplace for free gardening demonstrations, a bookstore with book signings by our instructor/authors, and local vendors with exciting products for your garden and gift-giving.

The 2025 Workshop explored many avenues of gardening. Our Keynote speakers, Kelly Dodson and Sue Milliken will present the story and work behind Far Reaches Botanical Conservancy.

The Whidbey Gardening Workshop is the major fundraising event of the Island County Master Gardener Foundation, which exists to support the Master Gardener program of Whidbey and Camano Islands. Funds raised make it possible for Master Gardeners to carry out our mission to provide the community with education in science-based gardening and environmental stewardship.
