Volunteering to help at the Annual Plant Sale

The Annual Plant Sale is our largest event in terms of volunteers needed and in terms of money raised by the Foundation to support our Programs. To pull off a successful plant sale, we are in effect creating a “Pop-up Nursery” for just one weekend a year. It takes months of preparation to make this happen. Click the link below, to learn how you can help to make this event a success…. and generate the funding that is the fuel behind everything else we do in Pierce County.

WSU Release Forms and Waivers

Master Gardener Photo Release is not required- All WSU Extension Master Gardeners signed and submitted a photo release form when certified as Master Gardeners. This release allows their image to be shared on Program materials or materials used by the Foundation in support of the Program. Master Gardeners are encouraged to share photos of their garden and clinic activities. See the forms below if these photos include non-Master Gardeners or minor persons.

Non-Master Gardener Photo/Video Personal Release – WSU Extension has provided a personal photo-video release form for use of the image and name of any person for promotional or educational materials. Remember that permission is required for this usage. Parent permission is required for minors, i.e., anyone under the age of 18, and this form is adequate for that approval. When photographing large crowds, a signed waiver from those individuals is not needed.

Liability Waiver for Non-Volunteers (Adults 18 and older) – Non-Master Gardeners who participate in WSU and Foundation activities are required to complete this liability waiver form before participating in any Master Gardener-related activities on behalf of the Program or Foundation.

Minor Volunteer Consent and Release – Minors (under the age of 18) are required to complete this consent and release form the is signed by a parent or legal guardian before participating in any Master Gardener-related activities on behalf of the Program or Foundation
